When you drive through the main gate of Gleniffer you can feel the pressures and stresses of city living leave and feel the calmness of the country. My wife and I have owned at Gleniffer over ten years and it has become our summer get away from the busy lifestyle and rat race of city living.
Once in the resort you can be as busy as you want or just relax around your own site lying in a hammock, and at the end of the day spending time at a campfire with family or friends telling stories, smores and more.
Whether you are a golfer, boater, enjoy fishing, or just relaxing there is lots to do for everyone and with all the facilities within the resort you make your own fun.
It is a community made up of all ages and walks of life thus making this a much diversified lifestyle where all can find their own niche. How about a quiet stroll around the park or a ride in a golf cart to see all that takes place during a day at Gleniffer.
Each Saturday morning enjoy a small farmers market in the parking lot of the country store where various vendors bring fresh grown vegetables, home cooked pies, bison meat and other products. This event is a common place that each week friends can spend a few minutes chatting and meeting new people. The country store provides a place where you can get almost anything without having to leave the resort, and especially the yummy ice cream and slurpies on a hot summer day.
Throughout the year there are many other events that are planned for everyone’s enjoyment sponsored by both the Gleniffer lake social club and Paradise Realty of which the majority are free or have a very normal fee.
A few of the events that do take place are: a meet and greet night, pancake breakfast, teen dances, a Saturday for a garage sale, Canada Day celebrations with a kids parade and closing with a spectacular fireworks display. Paradise Realty is involved with many of these along with a few other events sponsored entirely by them for all to enjoy. I want to personally thank both the social club and Paradise Realty for making all these events possible as this is what makes Gleniffer Lake the place where you want to be.
A little about the facilities there are tennis courts, a well-equipped workout room, 3 swimming pools, 2 hot tubs, 2 playgrounds, an onsite restaurant with has a full menu, and a 9 hole golf course, all these that everyone are welcomed to use and enjoy.
Gleniffer Resort is a place where all that come have fun and hate to leave, as the old saying goes all good things have to come to an end, but the great thing is it all takes place the next weekend.
Gleniffer Lake is truly a community where you make new friends and enjoy the good times with old ones.
